Borel to feature at Brussels Diamond League

Borel, who is the reigning Pan-American champion, placed seventh in the Rio Olympics final with a throw of 18.37m.

It was the first time that she had qualified for the final of her pet event and became the first Trinidadian athlete to advance to a female field event final.

Borel will not have an easy time because she will have to contend with the giants of strong arm women event in the persons of all three Rio Olympics medallists — Michelle Carter (United States), Valerie Adams (New Zealand) and Anita Marton (Hungary); who will also be in action today.
