NSA to contest local polls

In a statement on Monday the NSA invited persons to collect membership and nomination forms for any interested candidates from Rienzi Complex, Couva, during working hours beginning from tomorrow.

The NSA, led by attorney Nirvan Maharaj, is calling on all civic- minded citizens who want to secure the nation’s future to join the party as it rises above the old politics of race and the two-party system. Urging people to break the chains of mental bondage including the idea of “I’m PNM til I’m dead” or “I’m UNC till I’m dead”, the NSA invited people to help rescue the country from power-seeking politicians.
