‘JJ Smiles’ hike to Paria Falls

Hikers will stop off at Turtle Rock before beginning again to the pristine Paria Bay.

At the falls, there’s the opportunity to take take a dip or swim in the crystal clear waters of this all-time favourite destination.

All proceeds from this event will go towards James’ family.

Rate: Moderately challenging to challenging Duration: 21/2 hrs one way Assembly point: Spring Bridge, Blanchisseuse Time: 7 am Prepayment is required.

Limit: 40 people Restroom and toilet facilities are available at Blanchisseuse Beach Resort at a minimal cost, payable to facility manager.

Hikers Inc would usually park at this venue, but this time around will be driving in past the Spring Bridge to park. Security for parked vehicles will as usual be in place.

Note: Due to the difficulty level of this hike screening is in effect.

People showing up on the day without pre-registering will not be accommodated, as the organisers seek to impose a stricter limit on numbers and to ensure participants’ physical ability to undertake hikes.
