Quran and the types of rocks

There are three main types dealing with water and the fear of Allah.

Chapter 2:V74 states that there are people whose hearts are hardened like rocks.

There are some rocks from which streams burst forth.

There are some which split asunder so water flows from them.

Finally, there are some that fall down for the fear of Allah.

The meaning of the above is metaphorical.

The significance is clear because even hardened hearts receive life and also give life to others.

It is a source of spiritual life for others as water and streams are sources of life in the physical world.
