Malick man is 347th murder victim

Dead is Charlton Huggins, of 6 th Avenue Malick Barataria.

Newsday understands Huggins was at Upper 10th Street, Barataria, at about 2.30 pm yesterday when loud explosions were heard.

When residents checked, they found Huggins lying in a pool of blood, on the side of the road.

Police and emergency services were immediately alerted and officers of the San Juan Police Station responded.

Huggins was rushed to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries while en route.

He was pronounced dead on arrival.

An autopsy is expected to be performed on his body today at the Forensic Science Centre, St James
