South East Zone recruiting aspiring umpires

The initiative, which is being held in conjunction with the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Umpires and Scorers’ Council, will be to be held at Rio Claro ASJA Muslim School on Tuesday from 6 pm to 7.30 pm.

According to Sewdhan Singh, secretary of the SEZCUSA, the orientation is an excellent opportunity to get a better understanding of the Laws of Cricket and take the first step towards becoming a certified cricket umpire.

The session is open for males and females, young and old and regional umpires will be on spot to answer questions and elaborate on the requirements of the fast growing profession.
