100 guns seized in Northern Division

Yesterday, a revolver and several rounds of ammunition were seized by officers of the Northern Division.

Head of Northern Division Snr Supt Rajkumar commended his officers claiming that the removal of the weapons from the hands of criminal elements is contributing to a decline in serious crime in the Division. He pointed out that it was also the efforts of citizens working alongside police officers by providing key information which also contributed to the find.
