Pres Sando vie for top spot in SSFL Premiership

A big win for Presentation today will see the team move from second place to first place on the standings. Leaders Shiva Boys are on a bye today and if Presentation can win by at least three goals they will leapfrog Shiva Boys. Scoring goals has not been a problem for Presentation of late as they are coming off a 6-0 win over Fyzabad in the last round.

Trinity, currently in 11th position, are one of many teams battling to stay in the Premiership Division. Only three points seperate seventh placed San Juan North and 14th placed Fatima on the 15-team table. Last placed St Benedict’s, who have two points, will have to go on a brilliant run of form to avoid finishing in the bottom three and being demoted.

St Benedict’s will have a tough assignment today when they face third-placed Naparima.

In other matches East Mucurapo and Queen’s Royal College (QRC) will battle at Fatima Ground, St Augustine and San Juan North will play at St Augustine, Signal Hill welcome St Mary’s to Tobago, St Anthony’s host Pleasantville and Fatima travel to Fyzabad.
