Dowlat said, “’I am really happy for the school’s continuing success and congratulate the hard work by both students, staff members and parents, because they have made their families, their communities and their school, very proud.” The school is expected to hold their annual graduation and prize giving function next Saturday at the school’s auditorium, Paradise Pasture, San Fernando. Naparima Girls High School vice principal, Mrs Karen Balley, also expressed satisfaction at the school’s success, saying that commendations should be given to the students, teaching staff and parents.

She too noted that this year’s scholarship winners had decreased from 45 scholarships in 2015, to 37 in 2016. The school is expected to hold their graduation ceremony at the Susachamar Presbyterian Church next Friday from 9 am. Meanwhile, Presentation College at Chaguanas and San Fernando garnered 41 scholarships while the Holy Faith Convents at Penal was awarded 20 scholarships. St Joseph Convent, San Fernando copped nine scholarships. Also earning scholarships was St Stephen’s College, Princes Town which took four.

ASJA Boys and Girls Colleges, San Fernando, took 14 scholarships
