Hudlin to give ‘A Breath of Fresh Air’

Hudlin, 18, is the recent recipient of the Suraj Boodram Prize for Best Music Certificate Student at The University of the West Indies (UWI), St Augustine campus.

In addition to his original work, this musical concert will also feature Hudlin’s refreshing new arrangements of popular pieces across multiple genres including classical, Broadway and folk, several of which will be brought to life by the UWI Arts Chorale under the instruction of Jessel Murray.

Audiences can also expect to be blown away by stellar solo performances from Arianna Rodas Laing who recently completed her run as Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar; Rondell Mungal, the recipient of the Meyer’s Shield for excellence in over ten classes at the 2016 TT Music Festival; Anikha Ballah, First Class Honours UWI Music Graduate and Kory Mendez, emerging Lydians Singers soloist as well as others musicians. Accompaniment will be provided by a hand-picked group of talented young instrumentalists with Murray on piano.
