Doodhai runs as independent

Filled with a burning passion of wanting to do much more in the education sector, Doodhai says his hat is now in the ring for leadership of the powerful teachers union. Doodhai spoke to Newsday of his dream to lead as he continues his advocacy in the field of education. “I believe that I am the best person to lead TTUTA at this time and this is no idle boast,” said a confident Doodhai. “I am grounded in the belief that I am most experienced, knowledgeable and academically qualified of all the candidates and come with a proven track record in leadership and devotion and commitment to service.” TTUTA’s election will be held on Thursday and Doodhai will run as an independent candidate. He comes up against Jemima Riley of Eastern Boys Government Primary School, Port-of-Spain, Nirmala Chinebas-Dinidal of Upper Carapichaima Presbyterian Primary School and Kendell Kittell of St Pius Boys’ RC School, Arouca
