What’s the role of Comfort Patrol?

(1) The crude, mischievous schoolboys who roam around the parks in the late evenings causing distress to joggers and others?

(2) The homeless who carve out niches for themselves in the parks, creating their own toilet-like area, complete with baggage?

(3) The motorists who drive through unlocked barriers and broken barriers to have a “special smoke”?

(4) The people urinating in public? The club patrons who feel free to park, drink a nd urinate? In one case there was faeces with toilet paper at a lamp post (not a homeless person).

Are they permitted to assist seniors with health issues, transportation to clinics, groceries? What are they about? Another possible waste of government funds? We “dress up” the place to make it appear “safe”, but that’s a fallacy. Really, what’s the benefit of these “cool” dudes in these SUVs? CL KONG via email
