Bethel upset Santa Rosa in Super League semis

In the first match of a Knockout semi-final double-header at Mt Pleasant Ground, Tobago, Bethel registered a 2-1 win over the Premiership table-toppers.

Kevon Woodley put the hosts in front in the 48th minute but Keron Clarke evened the scores a minute later. However, Teejay Cadiz found the back of the net in the 58th to secure victory for Bethel.

In the latter match, Police strolled to a 2-0 win over 1976 FC Phoenix, with items from Real Dedier (44th) and Jason Boodram (77 th).

The final, between Bethel and Police, will be contested at the aforementioned venue on October 26.

In related news, action in the Championship and Premiership Divisions will continue this weekend.
