Arima man chopped
Newsday understands that 51-year-old Winston Greenidge, of Paradise Avenue, Guanapo, Tumpuna Road, Arima, was at the grocery store when he got into an argument with another man. The argument between Greenidge and the man became physical, then, without warning, the man whipped out a cutlass and dealt Greenidge several chops about the body. As Greenidge screamed in pain, the man escaped the scene on foot.
Greenidge was rushed to the Arima Health Facility, where he was treated, and remains warded in a serious condition. Up to press time, no arrests were made in connection to the incident
