Teen critical after shooting

According to police Keron Fortune, 17 from Fairley Street, Tunapuna, was walking along Pasea Extension, Tunapuna about 3.30pm when a car passed.

Several loud explosions were heard and Fortune was found slumped over.

He was rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope where he underwent emergency surgery.

He remains warded in critical condition.

Investigations are continuing.

Fortune was shot in the vicinity of where Josiah Ramsahai, 15, and recently released St Michael’s Home for Boys, was shot dead by police in a reported shootout on Friday morning.
