Minister Smith praises ASATT for hosting Championships

Minister Smith who presented awards at the National Open Short Course Championships, praised the Amateur Swimming Association of Trinidad and Tobago (ASATT ) for the successful hosting of the event. He encouraged other National Governing Bodies to also utilize the facilities, which he reiterated belongs to the people of Trinidad and Tobago.

Over the four days, records were broken by Kristen Julien (Areios Aquatechs), Graham Chatoor (Marlins), Jeron Thompson (Atlantis Aquatics), Amira Pilgrim (UTT ), Zarek Wilson (Blue Dolphins) and Nikoli Blackman (Marlins), with the overall team title being won by Tidal Wave Aquatics.

Minister Smith extended congratulations to all the winners and looks forward to hosting of the Atlantic Primary Schools meet in November and the Water Polo Championships and ASATT invitational in December
