HDF raffle to raise funds for training projects

The Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), is hoping to raise funds through via its ongoing raffle ticket sales, however, cash donations will also be accepted.

The raffle started in October and is schedule to end on November 30.

Prizes include two return tickets to Miami courtesy Caribbean Airlines Ltd, a one-night stay for two at Cara Suites Hotel, Claxton Bay, one personal and household item hamper courtesy Oscar Francois Ltd, a basic make-up course courtesy Sacha Cosmetics Ltd, a gift voucher and a variety of consolation prizes.

For the past 11 years, the HDF has successfully implemented programmes to support youth, women, families, the school system and the wider community.

HDF’s vision is to cultivate a society where all people would experience love, nurturing and discipline which are encapsulated by its motto The Power of Love Initiates Change.

The foundation’s mission is, through the power of love, to influence young people, families, the school system and the community by creating nurturing and disciplined environments throughout Trinidad and Tobago, said a media release.

The HDF is committed to the holistic development needs of all individuals at different stages of their lives.

Its focus is on the needs of underprivileged and at-risk children and adolescents.

The foundation’s many activities include the facilitation of workshops on personal development and leadership skills; counselling of youth and parents; promoting public awareness; individual counselling and youth development programmes.
