Bandits kill businessman in Mayaro

The bandits took a total of $6,000 from the cash register and several boxes of cigarettes.

Reports said that as the men were about to flee the scene, Pacheco followed.

A struggle ensued between Pacheco and the two men. Police said that one of the men pointed a firearm to the businessman and shot him several times.

Pacheco died on the spot.
