Shiv Shakti’s art in motion

Salickram had the audience screaming as he brought on more than 200 performers in exquisite costumes for choreographed pieces.

The opening dance was adapted from the film Bajirao Mastani.

Salickram then dipped into a dance from yesteryear named “Mujhe Mat Rukho”. This was one of his earliest choreography. He enlivened the crowds up with the song “Barkha Bahara” that carried heavy drumming and dancers moving to the rhythm, leaving the audience breathless.

Former beauty queen and lead female dancer Susan Badree performed several dance items. The final dance was a fun and festive medley that saw the participation of parents of the dancers.

Guest performers included Mastana Bahar winner, Stephon Jaikaran, Akeel Ali, Nishard Mayroo and Sally Sagram.
