Appreciated Maxie, but...

Just to clarify Cuffie, I never implied “that the police have no role to play in treating with the issue.” If he read my letter well, he would have seen where I explicitly stated that we should “have our police clamp down on sellers of scratch bombs.” I am not a politician, so I have no need to put a spin on anything I write.

But one aspect of his response left me with my mouth hanging.

It seems we have a law regulating fireworks for “most urban areas” and not “most rural areas” in TT. Is that how our parliamentarians (past or present) legislate? I am sure the minister will communicate this to his Attorney General for eventual rectification.
