New band in town Mondayness

What’s most novel about Mondayness is that the band will utilise a committee of over 65 women from various islands throughout the Caribbean to guide it. Designers for the costumes came from Barbados, Martinique and TT. Martinican designer, Pascal Giboyau, was present at the band’s launch on December 12.

On the day masqueraders can look forward to what the organisers described as a two-fold experience- ‘Road Sesh’ and Night Frolic or “Festival of Friends’ [a big after party for masqueraders and their friends].
