Man escapes with case of Johnny Walker Black

According to reports, the 62-yearold proprietress at Solow Supermarket, was conducting sales at about 8am on Saturday when she observed the man casually walk into the supermarket, pick up the alcohol and then place it in the trunk of his car.

The businesswoman, Manwarie Ramdial, raised an alarm but the man had already fled the scene.

The victim was able to get the number plate of the vehicle and police believe they may be able to trace the owner of the vehicle.
