UNC, listen to the bankers

I am a businessman and I write to congratulate the former minister of trade, industry, investment and communication, Vasant Barath, for calling on his fellow UNC members to stop playing politics with important matters like this and not delay passage of the FATCA legislation, which the Bankers Association and the business community have taken the Opposition UNC to task over.

We do not want TT ending up in financial difficulties like Venezuela or Cuba because the UNC is not listening to the Bankers Association’s and the business community’s recommendations.
