Missing woman found ‘physically unhurt’

Lalla’s husband, Ashook Naggassar, reported to police that she went missing on Thursday last from their home located at Hill View Lane, Lower in Couva.

He lodged the Missing Person’s report at the Gran Couva Police Station at about 3.40 pm on Saturday, after attempts to contact her proved futile. On Tuesday, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) issued a press release seeking the public assistance in relocating her.

Police sources yesterday confirmed that Lalla was staying at a house in Caroni and with the help of the public, police were able to locate her on Tuesday night.
