Motorist’s hand severed in accident

The bloodied limb ended up in the middle of the road while Aberdeen remained in his vehicle. He and the bloodied limb were rushed to hospital.

Doctors at the San Fernando General Hospital attempted to reattach the limb but were unsuccessful.

Up to yesterday, Aberdeen remained warded at hospital and investigations are continuing.

This tragic accident was not the first for Aberdeen as he also lost an eye at a construction site over 20 years ago. Residents told Newsday that he was doing construction work on a house at Penal when an object struck him.
