Man held with gun, ammo

Officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force under the supervision of Sgt Guelmo executed several search warrants within the North Eastern division. During the exercise the man was arrested for being in possession of a .9 mm Smith and Wesson pistol and several rounds of .9 mm ammunition.

Also in the Morvant district search warrants were executed and police seized a quantity of marijuana.

Three persons were arrested and are to be charged for the offences.
