Rangers whip Stars in high-scoring contest

The season restarted after the Christmas break with little fanfare, but Rangers moved up to sixth spot (with 15 points) after a high-scoring result over fifth-placed Stars (18 points). Dylan King scored twice for Rangers, in the 14th and 76th minutes, while Micah Lansiquot (11th), Jameel Antoine (37th) and Shakiyl Phillip (85th) chipped in with one apiece. Jerrel Britto (43rd and 87th) and Hayden Tinto (60th) replied for Stars. In the latter game at Barataria, San Juan Jabloteh edged the struggling Morvant Caledonia United 1-0 courtesy of a 64th minute goal by Josiah Trimmingham.

Jabloteh remained in third spot with 23 points, while Caledonia are second from bottom with 10 points.
