Monsignor Perreira to Police: ‘Stay Focused’

Fr Perreira further condemned the actions of errant police officers who have in the past ‘tarnished the reputation of the police service’, adding that while rogue officers might evade discipline from their superior officers, they can never escape divine judgement.

Following the ceremony, Acting Commissioner of Police Stephen Williams said the TTPS was currently in the final stages of preparing it’s three-year operational plan; key to which would be reducing the frequency of violent crimes, particularly homicides.
