Cooper shoots Police past UWI in Courts All Sectors n-ball
At the Eastern Regional Indoor Sports Arena, Tacarigua, on Sunday, Cooper netted 23 of her 29 attempts as the policewomen whipped UWI 41-31. In the other game in the division, UTT, despite leading all the way had to battle to hold off a determined Fire 42-36 with veteran Anastascia Wilson scoring 23 of 35 attempts Kernisha Greenidge 19 of 29.
Police now lead the standings with nine points from their five games, three more than UTT (six).
Police also lead the Championship Division but only on goal-difference ahead of UTC.
UTC defeated Defence Force 39-34 behind 29 goals from 39 attempts by Ayanna Pierre while Karlene Sylvester led Defence Force with 24 of 35 attempts.
