Sweet Revenge claim North Zonal title

Defending champions Savannah Boys were dismissed for 110 in 18 overs, before Sweet Revenge replied with 111 for six in 19.5 overs.

The Savannah Boys’ middle and lower order fought hard to get the team to a fighting total. Aneesh Sookoo top scored with 23, while Nishan Rahim pitched in with an unbeaten 16. Luke Latiff (2/14), H Hosein (2/19), Renaldo Sammy (2/28) and Joel Seitaram (2/29) shared the wickets for Sweet Revenge.

In reply, opener Jessie Roland led from the front with 42 and Shane De Souza contributed 16 as Sweet Revenge got over the line with a ball to spare. Bowling for Savannah Boys Rishi Mannah snatched 2/17 in four overs.
