Ramsubhag new Central chairman

CENTRAL Zonal Council elected a new chairman for the forthcoming cricket season at their annual general meeting, at Presentation College, Chaguanas, on Tuesday last. New man at the helm is Parasram Ramsubhag who is secretary of the Munroe Road Cricket Club. He takes over from West Indies Under-19 manager Roland Sampath, who is currently in Antigua with the youth team and did not stand for re-election. There is also a new vice-chairman in the zone as Kumar Rampath who has been appointed territorial coaching development officer by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) also stood down and was replaced by Mozack Rahamut. And Narsingh Ramberran was elected secretary, replacing incumbent Dasrath Maharaj. Mishri Lutchmiedial, secretary of Balmain Sports club, will serve as treasurer of the zone. Election results: Chairman Parasram Ramsubhag; vice-chairman Mozack Rahamut; secretary Narsingh Ramberran; treasurer Mishi Lutchmiedial. TTCB representatives are  Lutchmiedial, Ramberran and Ramsubhag.
