Jabloteh seek redemption

FOLLOWING THEIR 2-0 shock defeat to North East Stars at the Sangre Grande Recreation Ground on Sunday last, CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh will try to maintain their clear advantage over the chasing pack as the TT Pro League continues today. Jabloteh, who hold a nine-point lead over W Connection will head over to the sister isle Tobago to face the bottom-placed Tobago United at Shaw Park from 5 pm. In another fixture scheduled at 5 pm, third-placed North East Stars will travel deep south to the Palo Seco Recreation Ground to meet South West Institute of Football (SWIF). Connection will have a tough challenge against Defence Force at the Hasely Crawford Stadium from 4 pm, needing a win against the Army-Coast Guard combination to keep the pressure on Jabloteh. Also at 4 pm, Arima Fire will host “the Stallions” Cale-donia AIA at the Larry Gomes Stadi-um, Malabar, Arima while Joe Public welcomes South Star-world Strikers at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Tunapuna. Under-20 matches will be contested two hours earlier.
