Goal City upset Mason Hall
SEA Level Goal City scored a stunning upset to put themselves back into line for promotion, with a 3-1 victory over Mason Hall Police Youth Club in the Tobago Football Association Big Six series. Makesi Jackson put Goal City ahead in Friday’s game at Canaan No 1 ground, when he fired in a penalty. And Andrew Williams and Akini Ferguson added further strikes before Devon Smart got one back for Mason Hall. Golden Lane also improved their lot when they held Big Six leaders Roxborough Lakers to a thrill-packed 3-3 draw at Canaan No 2 ground. Imlah Taylor and brother Azel Taylor along with Eldon Paul got goals for Golden Lane, while prolific Dyuke Reid struck home a double and Glen Daniel scored the other for Lakers. The other game scheduled for Friday between Leeds United and Calder Hall at Dusty Park, was postponed.
