S/Hill, Scarborough in decider

THE TOBAGO Zonal winner of the 2003 British Gas Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) will be determined on Saturday. Leaders Signal Hill and nearest challengers 2002 champs Scarborough, will face off in the final zonal contest at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet from 4 pm. S/Hill are atop the five-team standings with 19 points, one more than Scarborough. And the lads, coached by Bertille St Clair, need only a draw to prevent Scarborough from claiming a hat-trick of titles. In yesterday’s round of matches, Signal Hill edged Roxborough 1-0 at the Signal Hill Grounds with a late winner from Nicholas Goddard. And Scarborough needed a second-half strike from Lejandro Williams to pip Elizabeth’s 2-1 at Shaw Park. Jeromie Williams opened the scoring for Scarborough before Elizabeth’s were gifted an equaliser courtesy of an own goal.
