Cops lift prints from scene

Tessa Stollmeyer, the woman who escaped from two kidnappers at her Goodwood Gardens home on Tuesday night, was treated by a doctor yesterday. Her husband Donald told Newsday that his wife is still shaken up over the incident. Yesterday, police officers returned to the scene of the attempted kidnapping and lifted prints. Police believe they may be able to make arrests.

Stollmeyer was snatched by two kidnappers as she alighted from her car at the garage of her home on Tuesday night. The kidnappers were lifting the screaming woman into a heavily tinted car when a gun was fired accidentally. The kidnappers panicked and Stollmeyer was released. Officers of the Anti-Kidnapping Squad are investigating.
