Caroni kick Samba Boys out Super FA

CARONI came from behind to tie Samba Boys 1-1, then edge them 2-1 on kicks from the penalty spot, when action in the National Super League FA qualifying series continued.

Jerome Simmons gave the Samba Boys a 17th minute lead before Ammed Moham-med grabbed a 53rd minute equaliser for the Sugar Boys. And after both teams failed with several of their kicks, the Benjamin brothers Jerome and Neil gave Caroni the victory. Anson Bachan scored the lone Samba Boys penalty. Police shut out league champions Crab Connection 2-0 in another game, with goals from Dwight Elliot in the 16th minute and an 87th minute strike by Brent Lyons. Defence Force advanced with a default win over Tobagonians Bi-Water Stoke-lyvale.
