Tobago to host Primary t-tennis
SISTER ISLE Tobago has been granted the opportunity to host the Primary Schools phase of the seventh annual Scotiabank Schools’ Table-tennis Championships on November 22. The tournament, which will be held under the auspices of the Trinidad and Tobago Table Tennis Association, will begin at the Jean Pierre Sports Complex, Mucurapo, on November 15 with the primary schools qualifiers, while the secondary schools version will be held on the following day. For the first time, doubles events will form part of the agenda with each school required to send one pair in each category (boys and girls). Overall, 300 students from 40 schools are expected to compete at the championships, with action in both Under-15 and Under-20 categories.
