Connection go for full points

W CONNECTION will be going all out for full points against South West Institute of Football (SWIF) at the Palo Seco Recreation Grounds from 5 pm today as Round 25 of the TT Pro League takes place. The second-placed Con-nection are eight points adrift of leaders CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh and need the win to keep pace with the defending champs. Another team looking to maintain pressure on Jabloteh are third-placed North East Stars, who host the weak Arima Fire at the Sangre Grande Recreation Grounds at 4 pm. The Stars should record their 14th win of the season against the firemen who have struggled to find any sort of consistency this year. Two other matches will kick off at 4 pm, with “the Eastern Lions” Joe Public meeting “the Stallions” Caledonia AIA at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Tunapuna while South Starworld Strikers oppose the hapless Tobago United at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva. All Under-20 matches begin two hours earlier.
