Carew jr in WICB coaching course

MICHAEL CAREW JR son of West Indies selector Joey Carew, will be among a list of 28 coaches who will undergo the West Indies Level I coaching course at the National Cricket Centre, Couva. The six-day session begins today and ends on November 21. Carew who played for Trinidad and Tobago has been actively involved in cricket in the Diego Martin area and was captain of Ceramic Trinidad Merry Boys cricket team. He is also deeply involved in horseracing as an assistant to champion trainer John O’Brien. Former national cricketers Giles Antoine and Councillor Boya Sahadeo are also listed among participants. Those for the course are:  David Jones, L Ramlogan, Eldon Ramdadeen, Roger Victor, David Asgarali, Kwasie Fyvenyce, R Bhagaloo, T Sammy, M Ragoonanan, John Lewis, Richard Kelly Snr, Steve Nandlal, Ashraph Haspodeen, Heeralal Lalloo, Roysie Collins, E Nanan, Khairool Ali, Terry Lee, A Marhan, C Benjamin, R Latchman, Curtis James, P Sookhai, Boya Sahadeo, Lalsingh Ramberran, Michael Carew and Giles Antoine.
