Connection in CONCACAF final

NATIONAL Under-23 striker Kendall Davis scored the 34th minute winner on Friday night as W Connection defeated Jamaican club Portmore United 1-0 at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella. And the Savonetta lads advanced to the final of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) qualifying series, for the 2004 CONCACAF Champions Cup, with a 1-0 aggregate scoreline, after their first match ended goalless on Wednesday night, also at the Marabella venue. Connection will now await the winner of the CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh-Arnett Gardens clash on Wednesday, at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex, Jamaica. Jabloteh were triumphant in the opening leg 3-1 at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo last Wednesday.
