Bamboo man held with stolen car parts
ARIMA police believe they have smashed a car-stealing ring with the arrest of a Bamboo #2 businessman yesterday, in whose home they found car parts from a car recently stolen in the borough.
According to information, Arima police went to the home of a 49-year-old businessman where they found the car, a black Sentra B11 completely scraped and ready to be sold, in his garage. The car was reported stolen while parked on O’Meara Road, Arima, last Saturday while owner Joseph Solozano was liming in a pub. The businessman is believed to be one of those responsible for stealing cars, scrapping them and selling the parts to other businessmen. Cpl Raymond Emanuel laid the charge.
