WIN TV boosts signal strength

WIN Communications General Manager Sunil Ramdeen recently signed the license approval for VHF Channel 7 with the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, which will give WIN TV complete National Coverage without cable.

Ramdeen says the signal should be at full strength by early January 2011.

Tobago will soon be able to tune in to WIN TV on Channel 39, while Channel 7 is powered up in Trinidad.

WIN also registered over 1,000,000 online hits during its live nine-night coverage of the Divali Nagar. WIN TV went on air in May 2007, and despite challenges with its signal strength, has already become a major player in the local TV market.
