Cops probe love triangle in Macqueripe murder
POLICE are investigating a three-way love triangle in the murder of Neal & Massy Auto Rental manager Harold Henderson.
According to reports, Henderson, 38, had been having an affair with a woman which her husband had opposed. The two had several confrontations up to quite recently. It is believed the angry man followed Henderson from his home, waited until he was comfortable in the car and then shot him dead.
According to an official police report, at around 3 am on Boxing Day Henderson was shot dead by a bullet to his neck while seated where he had been talking to a woman in his car at Samaan Park, Macqueripe. The woman, who was held and questioned by police has since been released. An all-points-bulletin has been put out for the arrest of a 40-year-old man.
When Newsday visited the Hendersons’ Cascade home hostile relatives refused to speak to reporters. Police sources when contacted told Newsday, “We have information” and expect to make an arrest soon. Acting Inspector Anthony Lezama is spearheading enquiries.
