Dean hits century in Barrackpore win
Barrackpore batting first and made a challenging total of 263 for nine from their 50 overs. Dean finished their innings on 100 not-out while Varoon Ragoonanan supported with 21 runs. Israel Modeste was the best bowler for Toco taking two wickets for 42 runs.
In reply, Toco were all out for 170 runs from 42 overs. They were undermined by Vaylon Roopnarine who took five wickets for 38 runs. Kyle Paul top scored for Toco with 50 runs.
In other matches, Hillview continued their unbeaten streak, crushing El Dorado East Secondary by 71 runs at Honeymoon Park.
Hillview made 172 runs all out in 47 overs with Dwayne Cockburn leading the way with 42 runs with El Do’s Namir Seepaul took three wickets for 30 runs.
El Do in their run chase were all out for 101 runs. Ewart Nicholson was the best batsman with 20 runs. Hillview College’s Brian Christmas took four wickets for 16 runs to do the damage.
