TTEC concerned over attacks against employees
In a release sent yesterday, TTEC revealed that last Friday, a TTEC employee attached to the Northern Distribution area, was attacked while on duty in the Morvant area.
The attacker, armed with a gun, confronted linesman Roderick King when he returned to the TTEC vehicle to secure supplies to complete a job.
His attacker kicked him about the body and stole his jewelry.
“This is just one of an increasing number of similar incidents which confront TTEC’s employees as they carry out their duties.
The hostile environment adversely affected the Commission’s ability to provide prompt and efficient service,” the release noted. TTEC has implemented additional security measures to deal with the current trends.
