Earthly angel off to Heaven
The peaceful picture of Krysta Lackpatsingh was far different from the last few moments of her life, when she was brutally murdered on Tuesday.
Scores of people, including the Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Social Services Delivery, Christine Kangaloo, gathered at the Christ Church Anglican in Cedros yesterday to pay respects to a young woman described by most as an earthly angel, who have now gone off to Heaven. Delivering the emotion packed eulogy was Lackpatsingh’s boy-friend, Kerry Moodie, who shared moments of joy, peace, love and laughter on behalf of Lackpatsingh’s parents, Steve and Jade and her brother, Mikael “Kevin” and himself.
Moodie described Lackpatsingh as a beautiful person, full of life and forever smiling. He said “Krysta was always willing to give of herself for the benefit of others and this was the reason why she chose the career of a probation officer — she wanted to be an earthly saviour to the depressed, broken hearted and suppressed people and did in fact fulfil that desire, down to her last breath.”
