All Rounder to lead Klassic Ruso tent

KLASSIC RUSO’s 2004 season, which will be launched Tuesday, is dedicated to Composer, a long standing exponent of the calypso art form.

This year the TUCO-run North Zone tent will be based at the Mas Camp Pub, Woodbrook. The executive of Klassic Ruso recently unveiled the North Zone logo and presented a contribution to the Princess Elizabeth Home from the proceeds of last season. All Rounder will lead the cast which includes Ebony, Versatile, Lasana, Alicia McKenzie, Shereen Caesar, Alicia Gift, Kassman, Hamidullah, Almanac, El Hombre, Zessman, Akil, Bro Rap, Dictator and others.

Over the last week the cast of Klassic Ruso have been in rehearsals at the Mas Camp Pub getting ready for the official opening which comes off  January 27. Klassic Ruso is another of the roving tents and will perform in Rio Claro, Point Fortin, Diego Martin, UWI St Augustine, Couva, Tunapuna and Port-of-Spain.
