Cops probe $70,000 robbery

Mon Repos police are continuing investigations into a $70,000 robbery, which took place on Friday.

According to police sources, around 4.30 pm a lone gun-toting man allegedly approached a senior employee of Trinity Pre-Fab Home Limited, while he was on his way to deliver salaries to the Pleasantville staff, and demanded that he hand the cash over. The suspect subsequently fled on foot.
