No input from Mr Esau

THE EDITOR: I have waited for some time now to see how long it would take Joe Esau to respond to Cro Cro’s calypso.

Mr Esau was first out of the blocks when it came to criticising Gerald Yetming’s re-cent comments in Par-liament regarding the sale of shares of FCB.  The former BWIA director  took mere hours to pen a letter to the editor on the matter calling for Mr Lee Chin to “vigorously pursue” Mr Yetming. Given Esau’s expedition on that issue, I eagerly awaited his letter on Cro Cro. Sadly, to date, no such letter has graced the editorial pages of the newspapers and I remain disappointed.

Replying to Cro Cro’s calypso has not found its way on Mr Esau’s to-do list, but he can find time to write a letter that seeks to encourage a foreign national to take an elected Member of Parliament to court in foreign jurisdictions. Alas, let’s give Mr Esau the benefit of the doubt, maybe his letter on Cro Cro is stuck in the mail.
