Why so few Indians in Army, Police Force?

THE EDITOR: Senator Wade Mark said that 95 percent of the employees in the Regiment, Army, Police Force and Coast Guard are African. Let’s assume you are correct, may I humbly request what you or the UNC government had done for the East Indian population when you and UNC were in power for six long years?

Often times I wondered, why Mr Panday while in power, wanted to sell Caroni rum distillery for a fraction of its cost. Was it because six years were too short a time for constructive planning and development for the Caroni workers? Senator Mark, with all due respect to you, Sir, if the answers to the two above questions is blowing in the wind, then may I advise that you do not eat the forbidden fruits that have fallen from the tree for it would be sour and tasteless.
